Quote of the Day

"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."

- J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

  1. Yes,a great start and and here is another one,the one that led to another fantastic story: "Suddenly his hand met what felt like a tiny ring of cold metal lying on the floor of the tunnel. It was a turning point in his career, but he did not know it.
He put the ring in his pocket almost without thinking: certainly it did not seem of any particular use at the moment."

  2. I've got to do a re-read of the Hobbit soon! Preferably before December 14th! :D
